It is elaborately painted and embroidered. In bold colors cranes rise from the hem above foamy waves. Inner lining is made of light, deep red chantung silk and there are ties on the inner collar to halve the width of the collar.
This kimono is in exceptionally good condition, belongs to the “Kimono deconstructed” series and has been converted into a coat dress. Diese Art Kimono sind sehr formell, fünf Kamon (Wappenzeichen). Ers ist aufwenig bemalt und bestickt. In kräftigen Farben steigen vom Saum Kraniche auf über schäumenden Wellen. Das Innenfutter ist aus leichter, tiefroter Chantung-Seide und am inneren Kragen befinden sich Bänder zum Halbieren der Kragenbreite.
